OUR MISSION
Armourlite, was consumed with a mission. Our customers who are police, firefighters, stunt men, heavy machine operators and steel workers spoke to us about what they wanted in a watch. They went through numerous watches a year because they just would not hold up to the daily abuse and some even gave up wearing a watch at all. The challenge was daunting how to produce a super tough invincible watch that could withstand direct impact to the crystal, make a watch case that was super tough, utilize a quality reliable watch movement and be light up at day and night so as to always see the time. They didn’t even ask for a nice design but we thought we would throw that in as well. After all we wanted them to wear their watch when entertaining as well.
COLLABORATIVE EFFORT
We knew we could not go at this alone. The challenges were too great and we didn’t want to disappoint our customers or make them wait for many years to develop such a product.
We worked with a specialty glass manufacturer that produced shatterproof high impact glass that was able to modify this technology to work with our watch design. To further dampen any impact we designed a rubber retaining ring the glass sits in to absorb any shock.
We chose the Citizen Miyota OS60 movement because of its durability and its ability continuously function under stress conditions.
We had our watch case manufactured using the highest and toughest steel combinations to create the super tough case that could be well …run over by a 22 ton fire truck.
We then teamed up with the Swiss company MB microtec the inventors of the tritium light tubes to produce the light sources for our watches to allow them to remain continuously lit for up to 25 years.
Finally we gave it to our designers and said if we can make it happen can you give us a handsome , smart looking watch with large easy to read numbers that some of our not so demanding customers would like to wear.

We are proud of our production of the first bullet proof tritium watch made to withstand the abuse of the profession. No more broken or badly scratched crystals. No more having to shine a flashlight to see the time while writing your reports.
Accuracy in time, invincible in structure, pleasing to the eye.
Large 3MM crown makes it very easy to change the time and adds to the uniqueness of the watch. The watch measures 45mm wide and when you add the crown an additional 3MM. The markers by the numbers and the hands light up in green .It is 10ATM, 100 meter or 330 feet water resistant. We just don’t talk about our watch; we back it up by a 2 year international warranty.
Now you are wondering ….is the video is real?. Absolutely 100%!!!! All raw footage, no movie tricks or special effects. The firefighters were just as amazed as we were as we ran over the watch without a scratch. Actually it did turn on the chronograph feature but you can push the button without running the watch over to turn on the chronograph. Naturally you don't want to go around your town looking for fire trucks to put your watch under. We just wanted to show you that the watch is for real and is built tougher than any watch on the market. WE want you to feel comfortable with your purchase and to know that we will back you 100%. If for any reason Within 10 TEN DAYS you are unsatisfied with your purchase you may return the item to us for refund or exchange. Of course the item must not be worn or show any signs of wear and must be returned with all warranty cards and case. We will not accept returned merchandise without the authorization number. Special Gifts Purchased can also be extended after 10 days, just let us know in the comment section at checkout.
New Watches come with full Warranty and Papers. All Watches carry a 10 (ten) day return privilege,unless it was a special order which can not be returned. All items must be returned in their original condition. Watches may not be worn or used. Watches and or bands that are damaged, scratched, chipped or shows other signs of wear or tampering will not be accepted for a refund. Returns Note that we cannot accept the return of any item that has been resized or altered in any way.
Returns must be postmarked the latest on the 10Th day of the return.Time is calculated from the date of receipt.
Returns must be authorized. call us with your order number and either the exchange item you want or for refund.We prefer to do an exchange ,it keeps the costs lower and enables us to keep our prices low. One of our customer service staff will give you with a Return Merchandise Authorization Number.Items sent without authorization will not be accepted and will be returned to you or will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Mark the number on the outside of the return package. Ship the item, including all original documentation, to our office.
Once it passes independent inspection, your money is refunded. Please note that we are unable to provide a refund for any item that has been resized or for any item that is returned damaged, chipped, scratched or otherwise shows signs of wear or tampering.
In the case of a credit card payment, a credit will be applied to the card used to make the original purchase. If payment was made by check or money order, a check will be issued by mail. If you are returning a gift, you may choose to credit the original credit card for the purchase value, or you may request a credit, which can be applied to any Luminouswatch.com purchase in the future. Credit has no expiry date.
Refunds will be issued for the purchase amount, including any applicable taxes paid. Shipping and handling, actual cost to us or any credit card fees or charges which altogether total 5% of the purchase price are nonrefundable, except in the case of an error on our part. Please allow approximately 10 business days to complete the return process.
EXCHANGES>(PREFERRED)Will be gladly made with the only resulting charge being shipping in the amount of $6.95.
