Luminox Navy Seal dive watch seal watches started the whole craze. They are rugged dependable and water resistant to 200m even with a push pull crown. The 3000 series comes standard with polyurethane band. This was changed from the original hard PU band that came with the watch when they first came out. this was a very durable band but was hard and uncomfortable to wear. This band now has a much softer feel. It is still a PU material but new innovations have allowed this band to have a softer and more gentile feel on the wrist for everyday wear.

The 3900 series has a velcro logo band which has been the same from the beginning. The other differences in the luminox seal watches are the bezels ,the 3000 has the numbers on the bezel 0-60 in 5 second intervals whereas the 3900 has them in 10 second intervals. Police and firefighters report excellent wear an tear on these watches.
